FOREO has an immediate need for an inspirational, talented and hands-on National Account Manager to join our award-winning Tokyo, Japan team. In turn, we offer an exciting and dynamic working environment.   

Position Overview:

As a National Account Manager – Professional Channel, primary responsibilities will include: working closely with FOREO Spa, Med Spa, Salon, medical chain and boutique beauty retailer accounts in Japan. The National Account Manager – Professional Channel is a crucial link between the Professional accounts, Education, Marketing & Communication teams in support of brand growth. National Account Manager – Professional Channel is also responsible for distribution strategy, coordinating marketing efforts, product launches and sales promotions. This position will report directly to the Country Sales Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to include:

                    *Communicated sales goals for the year 

                    *Source and present at least one new project per quarter

  • Responsible for driving sales in Tokyo, Japan, building relationships, identifying and prospecting new account opportunities  
  • Provide continuous educational support through trainings and drive sales to support the brand portfolio and growth of product categories along with new initiative product launches
  • Define and evaluate distribution and retail strategy for all professional accounts within assigned territory to support commercial development in Japan
  • Plan and execute product launches and marketing efforts between professional accounts to ensure compliance with brand guidelines and professional channel national marketing strategies
  • Establish routine meetings to enhance understanding of the needs and development of professional accounts, while championing the brand’s positioning and vision
  • Support professional accounts in the execution of campaigns and promotional activities
  • Plan, execute and support national events and trade shows, approximately 4 to 8 times per year

Required/Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, sales or business administration
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of sales and education experience in business development in the luxury beauty (or related) industry
  • Proven ability to drive incremental revenue, create new relationships and manage existing ones, and build loyalty within a market region
  • Knowledge of Beauty and Skincare products desired. Esthetician license a plus
  • Existing relationships and experience managing professional accounts and boutique retailers in Tokyo, Japan desired
  • Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and goal oriented.
  • High attention to details, and organization
  • Advanced proficiency using G-Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, nationally and internationally
  • Ability to clearly communicate and present in Japanese, both verbally and in writing
  • Adequate business level of spoken and written English to communicate among other offices/colleagues internally
