Professional Channel Account Manager

FOREO is seeking proactive and hands-on new team member to join our award-winning North America team as a Professional Channel Account Manager. This role will be responsible for distribution strategy, coordinating marketing efforts, product launches and sales promotions with our professional accounts in North America. You will be reporting directly to the National Account Manager Canada Team Lead to plan and execute market level initiatives within the national plan. This is a key position within the organization with challenging but promising development opportunities.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Revenue, Profitability & Reporting (50%): 

  • Achieve or exceed the assigned sales goals & profitability targets 
  • Achieve or exceed the assigned account retention rate
  • Achieve or exceed percentage of conversion from lead to customer
  • Responsible for driving sales in North America, building relationships and identifying and prospecting new account opportunities

2. Strategy and Execution (35%):

  • Maximize growth of designated business segments 
  • Identify and qualify 5 “A” accounts
  • Obtain new clients to meet the assigned ratio coming from new business
  • Defines and evaluates distribution and retail strategy for all professional accounts within assigned territory to support commercial development in North America
  • Plans, executes and supports national events and trade shows, approximately 4 to 8 times per year

3. Relationship Management (15%):

  • Plan, source and execute a promotional activity or event: A+ and A accounts 
  • Schedule and execute phone calls with A+ and A accounts
  • Plan, source and execute a training activity with A+ and A account

4. Plans and executes product launches and marketing efforts between professional accounts to ensure compliance with brand guidelines and professional channel national marketing strategies 

5. Other duties as assigned

6. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Existing relationships and experience managing customers
  • Proven ability to drive increment revenue, create new relationships and manage existing ones as well as build loyalty within a market region
  • Knowledge of beauty and skincare industry, esthetician a plus
  • Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated success in sales
  • Fluent in French is an asset


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales or business administration preferred; High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required 
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in business development
  • Advance proficiency with Google Suite applications
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate in English, (both verbally and in writing) to all level of personnel
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, move from one area of the building to another on a regular basis, sit and use a computer for a long period of time
  • Manual and physical dexterity needed to operate a computer keyboard and handle paper documents
  • Sufficient vision acuity to read information appearing on computer display screen, in hand-written forms, and printed on papers
  • Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person and by telephone
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds (on occasion lifting up to 50 pounds may be required)
