Job Summary
The Marketplace Manager for FOREO Southeast Asia leads ecommerce growth and operations
across key markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, and India.
With full P&L accountability, this role drives sales performance and brand presence on platforms
like Shopee, Lazada, Zalora, and TikTok Shop.
The Marketplace Manager oversees marketplace partnerships, promotional campaigns, and a
regional team, combining data-driven insights with cross-functional collaboration to optimize
inventory, marketing, fulfillment, and customer experience. This leadership role ensures
profitable growth and consistent brand standards across all online touch points in the region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue and P&L Management
● Meet and exceed sales targets for all assigned e-commerce channels
● Own full P&L responsibility, tracking key commercial metrics like Achievement, Growth,
ACOS, ROAS, conversion rates, and AOV.
2. Relationship & People Management
● Build strong partnerships with marketplace platforms (Shopee, Lazada, Zalora, TikTok Shop) and manage key account relationships.
● Lead and develop the Southeast Asia Marketplace team to maximize productivity, engagement, and execution.
3. Data Analysis & Commercial Planning
● Analyze sales performance, consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities to inform tactical and strategic decisions.
● Lead the creation of monthly campaign calendars detailing promotions, pricing, and platform activations such as double digit campaigns, bundles, flash sales, livestreams etc.
4. Digital Marketing and Content Management
● Optimize platform on-platform marketing tools (e.g., Sponsored Ads, Affiliate Marketing, Live Streaming) to drive traffic and sales.
● Collaborate closely with the Marketing team on off-platform tools such as influencer campaigns, social media, demand generation.
● Ensure all marketplace brand stores maintain premium product content quality and brand consistency.
5. Operational Excellence and Efficiency
● Plan and forecast inventory to avoid stockouts and minimize excess stock for efficient sales fulfillment.
● Work with Supply Chain and Logistics to optimize regional fulfillment for cost efficiency and delivery speed.
● Oversee customer service KPIs, driving initiatives that increase customer engagement, satisfaction, and repeat purchases.
6. Cross Function Collaboration
● Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, IT, Finance, and Product to ensure aligned strategies, smooth operations, and cohesive execution across all marketplace touchpoints.
● Foster strong communication and collaboration between departments to drive innovation, agility, and quick resolution of operational challenges.
Qualification
● Minimum 5 years of experience in ecommerce, marketplace management, or digital marketing, preferably in beauty, tech, or consumer goods industries.
● Proven track record of driving sales growth, managing P&L, and executing high-impact marketplace campaigns across Southeast Asia or similar markets.
● Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making, performance measurement (ACOS, ROAS, conversion rates), and commercial planning.
● Excellent leadership experience, capable of managing and motivating a regional team.
● Expertise in managing key relationships with marketplace platforms (Shopee, Lazada, Zalora, TikTok Shop) and negotiating partnerships.
● Proficient in ecommerce marketing tools including Sponsored Ads, Affiliate Marketing, and Livestream integrations.
● Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work smoothly with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams.
● Adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic environments and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
● Knowledge of Southeast Asian digital commerce landscapes and consumer behavior is a strong advantage.

SUMMARY
● Sales and P&L Ownership: Drive sales growth and manage full P&L, focusing on key commercial metrics like ACOS, ROAS, conversion rates, and AOV.
● Partnership and Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with marketplace platforms and key account managers, leading promotional campaigns and partnership opportunities.
● Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the regional Marketplace team to maximize productivity, engagement, and execution.
● Data-Driven Commercial Planning: Analyze sales data, consumer behavior, and market trends to inform commercial strategy and own the monthly campaign calendar including promotions, pricing, bundles, flash sales, and livestream activations.
● Marketing and Brand Excellence: Optimize digital marketing tools (Sponsored Ads, Affiliate Marketing, Livestream), collaborate with Marketing on influencer campaigns and demand generation, and ensure premium product content, visuals, and brand consistency across all stores.
● Operational Excellence: Forecast inventory needs, coordinate with Supply Chain and Logistics for cost-effective fulfillment, and oversee customer service KPIs and initiatives to enhance customer engagement, satisfaction, and repeat purchases.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, IT, Finance, and Product teams to align strategy and operations, fostering communication and innovation to solve operational challenges.
