Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Sales
• Act as the primary contact for all assigned retail accounts; manage end-to-end account relationships with a high degree of independence
• Develop, plan, and execute monthly and annual sales plans to achieve revenue, volume, and ASP targets
• Present sales proposals to buyers; negotiate pricing, promotion alignment, incentives, campaign activities, and return policies, etc., aligned with company objectives
• Evaluate account performance against targets; recommend and implement actions to improve revenue, distribution, and visibility
• Conduct periodic business reviews with trade partners; develop insights from buyer feedback and market sentiment
• Proactively identify, pitch, and onboard new retail accounts within Southeast Asia; dedicate approximately 30% of bandwidth to new business development and expansion leads
Marketing & Channel Planning
• Develop and implement account-level marketing and promotional plans
• Manage and evaluate trade promotional activities; track promotion effectiveness
• Segment channels effectively in collaboration with Marketing teams
• Analyse sell-through data; provide regular Sell-In, Sell-Out, and Inventory reports to management
Operations & In-Store Execution
• Manage day-to-day operations — new product listings, promotional submissions, and retailer forms
• Oversee Visual Merchandising to align with brand standards; independently initiate and drive shelf placement, planograms, and product visibility strategies, leveraging display/visual execution support where needed
• Plan and execute store expansions and upgrades in line with company goals
• Liaise with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to meet account needs
Distributor Management — Indonesia
• Manage the Indonesia distributor relationship remotely, serving as the primary liaison for operational execution
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on forecasting, replenishment, and inventory health to minimise out-of-stock and overstock risk
• Coordinate compliance, import documentation, and cross-border logistics requirements with internal and external stakeholders
• Track sell-through and recommend actions for ageing or slow-moving inventory
Inventory & Budget
• Monitor stock levels across all assigned accounts; collaborate with Supply Chain on forecasting and replenishment

• Manage A&P budgets for assigned accounts; evaluate post-promotion effectiveness
Team & BA Management
• Supervise and mentor Beauty Advisors at Takashimaya stores to ensure strong in-store execution, planogram compliance, and promotional display standards
Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in B2B account management or B2B sales within consumer products / FMCG, beauty, personal care, or consumer electronics
• Proven track record managing multiple, distinct retail channels simultaneously (e.g., department stores, pharmacy chains, travel retail, distributor networks) — comfort with channel-switching and learning new operational rhythms is essential
• Proven experience managing retail trade partners and negotiating commercial terms (pricing, promotion alignment, incentives, campaign activities, and return policies, etc.)
• Strong analytical and data organisation skills — highly proficient in spreadsheet-based tracking, reporting, and building management trackers from scratch; proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• High comfort with ambiguity, self-directed execution, and proactive problem-solving — ability to operate independently with limited day-to-day supervision
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised and results-driven
• Familiarity with the Singapore retail landscape — department stores, pharmacy chains, specialty beauty, personal care stores, and electronics retailers
• Willingness to travel regionally as needed
Nice to Have
• Experience with beauty devices, personal care electronics, or premium consumer products
• Multi-market coordination experience across SEA
• Distributor or regulatory onboarding experience
• Willingness to learn and adopt new tools and technologies, including AI-powered workflows for sales and reporting automation
